Not happy with the service from this location at all. I took a pair of boots in to get a new sole and midsole. I was quoted $100 and done in 2 weeks over the phone which was perfect since I needed them for an event 3 weeks later. It took 4 weeks. Had to buy other shoes.

We had discussed using a thicker Vibram sole but I was later convinced through text to go with the softer type for less foot fatigue. With that, he still installed the thicker sole?

The midsole never was addressed and came back worse. Now I have to find a solution for it since the new soles have large grids and even with a new insole, you can feel the grids.

There are multiple random spots of shoe glue on the boot and inside and gaps in the sole that should have been glued together. There was zero effort in the finishing touches to the point I had to ask him to remove the burs on the new sole. He even damaged the shoes when doing so as you can see in the picture.

I have never had a craftsman do such a poor job on something to the magnitude. It's been a month since I got the shoes back and I was about to wear them for the first time I am just now seeing all of the flaws sadly.

Do not spend your money here.

I now have a pair of shoes that look old and worn out. Read below.

I took a pair of my favorite patent leather shoes to get one sole re-glued.
They also suggested to have the heels replaced for both so I agreed.

The shoes were in perfect conditions. The leather had No scratches, no nicks...

K Shoes gave them back very damaged all over the leather. The damages being pretty visible.
The shoes were clamped so badly the leather is dented into, lifted off, scratched.... you name it, my shoes have it!

The glue used is super visible on the sides.
I had glued one of the shoes myself and I had done a much better job.

I asked for a refund and all I got is that they wanted to take pictures to assess it. This "job" cost me $24!!!

These people do not know what they are doing. They are incompetent, careless and do not have the minimum skills to accomplish a quality job.

They have zero customer service skills too.

4th Dec 2021:
After I posted my first review with photos showing how my shoes had been really damaged, the owner texted me offering to "fix them". How can you fix leather that has been scratched off? Not to mention, there is no way I would let him touch anything mine again.

Today I wore my shoes for the second time since I picked them up from K-Shoe. First time I wore them I had gone to dinner and barely walked in them for 10min. This second time, I walked less then 10feet when the sole they had glued came completely off.
Even the bottom sole they had put on came off!!!!! on both shoes!!!!!

I would like to point out I had glued the sole of the other shoe and that one is still glued, does not have glue all over the shoe and I did not damage the leather. They did though when replacing the bottom sole.

So not only did they damage quite visibly my shoes but they did such a lousy job and used such bad quality materials, nothing they "allegedly" glued, held in place.

There is absolutely no way I would ever let anyone who lack any level of professional skills, as far as fixing shoes goes, to touch any of my shoes.

I can do a much better job!!!

Needless to say, they never refunded the cost.

Received new shoes today and needed them altered before tomorrow. I went in to K Shoe Repair at 2:30 & picked up my perfectly altered shoes at 4:45!! Same day! Very impressed with their customer service and quality.

The men here are complete gentlemen! Very professional and so sweet. They craft amazing-quality leather and do a superb job at repairs. K Shoe repaired a pair of my old Birk sandals 28 Apr 22. The price was reasonable, the quality of work was very good.. Good to keep my comfortable footwear. Support small business.
UPDATE : Mar 2023. The prices are up and long wait times.

I didn't have a great experience here. When I came in to explain my shoe repair issue, I felt like I was bothering them. I even said, I don't think he wants to fix my shoes, and she told me something about an office person not being there. Not a great start. I will say they fixed the shoes quickly, it was an easy job, and the work was ok. But my fault for not asking the price ahead of time. Extremely expensive in my opinion for the job. I had two other pairs, with the exact some issue and found another shoe repair place and got both pairs done for what he charged me for one pair, and it was quality work. Those two reasons I won't be qoing back.

*Edit...they did reach out to me and said the charge was in error so I thank them for that.

We dropped off 4 pairs of boots. Our boots had water damage from being in storage during the hurricanes. They look brand new again! Just dropped off another pair of boots! This place did a great job! 5 stars!
