Dr. Moran is excellent and genuinely cares about his patients, especially during pregnancy. However, his wife, who also works at the clinic, left us with a very negative experience today. I had read many bad reviews about her before, but today confirmed them.

My husband and I had concerns about the delivery fees, payment plans, and insurance, so we asked for clarification about switching our insurance. Instead of helping, she bluntly told my husband, “you’re making us lose $1,000.”

Excuse me, we switched insurance to save $1,000 for our newborn, as any first-time parents would. It’s shocking that, as someone with three kids herself, she didn’t realize how inappropriate it was to blame us for her business losses. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and ruined our day. Because of her selfish attitude, my husband now insists we switch OB doctors.

Update:

We spoke on the phone today about the issue. She explained the situation and apologized for anything she said that may have caused the upset. She admitted that dealing with insurance and billing is very stressful for her, and acknowledged that she shouldn’t have taken it out on us. From the way she spoke and explained things, her apology seemed sincere. It’s a reminder that most people aren’t bad—they’re often just going through a tough time and unintentionally taking it out on others. It's usually temporary.

I’ve also come to realize that Dr. Moran and his staff are generally good people. If you have good in-network insurance with them, I’d recommend going for it.

Dr Moran was one of the best OB I have known, my pregnancy wasn’t that easy and lot of complications, he has deep knowledge with my issue which put me at ease. He really took good care of me on my entire pregnancy, even with my admission to the hospital, he always comes by multiple times to check on me and make sure that everything is taken care of. I highly recommend Dr Moran.

Dr. Moran is one of the best. His knowledge, experience, and skill set put him as one of the top ob/gyn high-risk specialists. As a researcher myself, I value his take on current literature and his practice on the individuality of his patients.

Dr. Moran is a great doctor! He has always taken time with me, explained any concerns he had for me, excepted my input into my treatment & with the Lord's hand in it, has delivered my last 2 babies healthy. He even stayed all night at the hospital waiting for the arrival of my little one! I love that he delivers all his own patients babies instead of you being stuck with whoever is on call at the hospital when you go into labor! I also greatly appreciated his front office staff, they always got me in same day if I had any needs, had Dr. Moran call me back if I had questions. I never had a long wait time that I can remember. Great experience overall!

Dr. Moran has been my doctor for the past 3 years, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. My 2 pregnancies have been high risk and Dr. Moran and his staff have made sure that I always felt informed and taken care of. He not only valued me as a patient but made it apparent that his main priority was the health of my child and myself. His staff was always accommodating and responsive. Even with many visits to triage Dr. Moran was always there to answer calls and speak to nurses regarding my care.
