i just read a review about this store . i have been shopping with gail k fabrics for over 20 yrs . they are the most trustworthy people ive ever met , and care about their clientele to the point we feel like family . i have left my items there and have been able to come back to them safely . They would never take someone's card away . it's not even possible they swipe your card at the register and hand it back to you immediately. i love this store !!!!! wonderful people a great store

While Gail has retired, it's still the best place for unusual fabrics, wool for suits, fabric and crystal and beaded appliques for gowns

I had a bad fraud experience at gail K located at Cheshire bridge. I purchased
some fabrics and trims and for payment lady took the card from me and away from my sight and did the transaction and returned me the card. That's where the fraud happened and I am almost sure about it because I used that card for the first time after 5-6 months and I used it at that store and that's it and that's all. Next day the fraudster took 1 cent and couple of hundred dollars later and again at some restaurant.
I never took out my card anywhere and the only place I used it fraud happened the next day.
BEWARE and we careful when you do transaction and make payment. I like the store for the variety it carries but I am very disappointed about the fraud.

I was in this store today and received horrible customer service from some man who appears to be a owner or manager.
I'm a designer and taking my time to coordinate fabrics he got very annoyed with me. My daughter immediately left the store I would have to but I had mentally made my decision and didn't want to go to another store to start the process over.
I will not be going back to that store!!!!!!
He was nasty!!!!!

Centrally located, good hours and a great variety of fabric. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are also very competitive. I managed to get a great price on Denim fabric for a backdrop.
