Tengan mucho cuidado si llamas dade county bar para asesoría legal yo llamé y me cobraron $50 a mí tarjeta de débito ellos no me proveyeron un abogado de custodia legal y mi hijo murió antes que otorgaran uno y no me quisieron devolver el dinero, no se confíen en ellos son muy deshonesto

Te cobran 50 dolares supuestamente para conseguir un abogado que haga match con tus necesidades que para mí una de ellas era mi limitación económica y les dije el rango de lo que podía pagar y me dijeron que por supuesto tenían abogados en ese rango... primer abogado que me refirieron cobraba 100 dolares más por hora de lo que yo podía, segundo abogado que me refirieron cobraba casi el doble de lo que les dije era mi presupuesto, es decir abren su lista y al primero que encuentran te dan su número. Es un engaño y es mejor buscar en Justia o en AVVO que puedes ver los reviews.

The Dade County Bar Association recommended a Landlord/Tenant
lawyer , I paid the 50.00 finders fee.....what I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF , IS THAT THEY RECOMMEND FROM A POOL OF BAD LAWYERS.

This Lawyer made claims that "he was the best attorney in Miami" that "he had experience with cases like mine"

Well , he asked for 1500.00 to write a letter of demand to the Landlord,( I have suffered extensive personal injuries).

I told him that was too much for writing a letter , ALL attorneys take personal injury cases on contingency...I said good bye....

Then he called me on a SUNDAY , to offer "for 500.00 , I will write a demand letter , and help you and your family , get compensated for your injuries"

I paid 500.00....in 10 days , he send a copy of the most inefective demand letter...had 10 grammatical errors, and the demand was "give me a call , as soon as possible"

The letter , was rambling, pointless and laughable with all those misspelled words....and IT COST ME 500.00 !!!

DO NOT , DO NOT get lawyers recommended by the bar ...they scrape the bottom of the barrell!.

Paid $50 fees for the referral service which advise was incorrectly given. They reffered me to the second one. Same luck. The last Atty's office at least promised to call me back for he was meeting with all the members. This atty was young and very courteous. I'm waiting their call back.
All this, to get a Social Security ADA attorney to handle a case.
Thinking that I will go to the disability or Social security court and ask around.

Seems many of the attys. Are boubly specializing or ' cherry picking' the cases, or this association had a rookie interviewing the callers.

Years ago they helped me with divorce, treated me like if a was paying full price, it was a simple case, mutual agreement, 2 children and a house. Paid $45.00. Highly recommended. Thank you!
